Our Heritage

Willett Cattle Co is run by a third-generation Australian farming family, specialising in the sustainable production of crossbred wagyu cattle and full-blood wagyu seedstock. Beginning with Mitchell’s father, Geoff Willett, we have continuously strived for progression and excellence since the breed’s inception into Australia 25 years ago.

Our breeding herd resides in the pristine high country of the New England region of New South Wales. Our passion for wagyu and our land has been fostered over decades of commitment to the breed, and its success within Australia and the international market.

Our Wagyu

Our team produce commercially crossbred wagyu cattle for international distributors and wagyu full-blood seedstock. We are committed to progress and animal efficiency through data collection and analysis.

Our passion for genetics and improvement has been substantiated by our ability to produce a consistent product within the top performers of our breed, for commercial crossbred carcass results.

Our eyes are set firmly on the future, as we continue to seek out the industry’s best practices and genetics. Our methods ensure our cattle mature naturally to their full potential, within a low-stress, pristine environment.
